Unlike the TV programs of old, where humans decided the programming, YouTube relies on algorithm to generate your recommendations and “Up Next” videos. The algorithm tries to guess what’s relevant to you, and pick out videos based on that. But this algorithm can also be manipulated. And channels have started doing so — on YouTube Kids, causing startling videos slip past filters. And the video themselves also appear to be algorithmically generated, making these channels to what amounts to a money printing machine that requires little human interaction.

The idea is simple: By using time management, you make better use of your time, leading to a better use of your time.
